A complete Key Skills and Functional Skills learning package
Business and administration requires a knowledge of key business practices. But employers are also looking for much more, such as communication skills, decision-making skills, and how to manage yourself. Additionally, we will walk through a host of important topics within the office environment including marketing basics, organising team events, health and safety considerations and industry issues.
Learners create their own hypothetical scenarios which help them complete topical industry activities and are set in a context that will enthuse and excite them. They are also mapped and complement NVQ units.
Here a few example activities and the occupational units they are linked to:
- Research office items and buy the basics online! (304 Procure products..)
- Choose a topic and write about it! (203 Maintain customer relations)
- Investigate the ideal visitor experience (311 Plan, organise and support meetings)
- Inside an office! Tables & graphs (202 Work within your business environment)
- Plan a reward and recognition day (313 Organise and coordinate events)
- Improve your own performance (301 Carry out your responsibilities at work)
